Our theme this year, “Our Mission. My Commitment.”, reflects our shared calling to grow in faith, mission, service, and devotion to Jesus Christ.
Camp Meeting Speakers
Our speakers for this year are Dr. Michael Campbell and Elder Randy Maxwell.
Dr. Michael Campbell is the speaker for the English-language evening meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday. Dr. Campbell serves the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists as Director of the Archives, Statistics, and Research Department. He has authored several books on Seventh-day Adventist history. A dynamic and engaging speaker, Dr. Campbell will lead us to God’s Word as we embrace the person and ministry of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Elder Randy Maxwell will serve as the speaker for the English-language meetings from Thursday evening through the Sabbath morning worship service. He currently serves as vice president for administration of the Washington Conference. Elder Maxwell joined the Washington Conference in 2016, where he pastored the Renton Adventist Church and served as the conference’s prayer ministries coordinator. Before that, he spent 10 years as pastor of the Kuna Church in Idaho, where he also served as Idaho Conference prayer coordinator and as a member of the evangelism and church planting committee. Elder Maxwell is also an author, conference speaker, and founder of If My People Pray Ministries, through which he has led prayer and revival seminars across North America and internationally.
This year’s Spanish-language speaker is Juan Pablo Cárdenas. He has served in a variety of leadership roles, including district pastor and departmental director in areas such as communications, religious liberty, family ministries, stewardship, and publishing. He also served as executive secretary of the Upper Magdalena Conference in Colombia. Juan Pablo and his wife, Andrea Marmolejo, are family therapists who blend their professional expertise with a strong pastoral calling and active service within the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
