Message from Lou Fitting, Young Adult Camp Meeting Leader:
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” Acts 2:42.
There has never been a more necessary time for this to become a reality in the Church again than today. We’re calling on all Young Adults of the Idaho Conference to join your church in the “apostles’ teaching” in the gymnasium of Gem State Adventist Academy each evening at 7:15 pm, June 11 – 15, 2019. The theme: Jesus, I’m All In.
Following each meeting join us at “The Gathering Place” (Gem State Guild), not for a program, but for a purpose – Fellowship. On Sabbath morning you’re invited to join your BFF, Jesus, at The Gathering Place for Breakfast, Fellowship, & Faith. Breakfast starts at 9:30 a.m. Sabbath afternoon we’ll be meeting in the Dorm Chapel with Dan Jackson, North American Division President, for “Real times: Real Issues,” a Q&A period for Young Adults from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. High school age youth are also invited to the Q&A session.
Note: if you consider yourself “young at heart” but are not really young adult age, we want to meet the needs of our members and friends who are young adult. Thank you for keeping it real.
